Councillor for the West Tamar

ANZAC Centenary

This morning my eldest daughter and I attended the dawn service at the Exeter RSL to commemorate 100 years since the first landing at Gallipoli. What I found most encouraging was that there would have been close to 400 people who dragged themselves out of bed to attend. I was very proud of our West Tamar residents this morning.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

Lest We Forget
